SAN ANTONIO (AP) – DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points, Keldon Johnson added 18 units and rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs barely held on to beat the Boston Celtics by 110 – 106 Wednesday.

LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points, Dejounte Murray added 11 as many and 11 draw, and San Antonio won their second consecutive home game.

For the first time this season, the Celtics’ starting lineup played together , with Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Daniel Theis. Tatum scored 25 points, Brown added 24, and Smart and Walker contributed 14 each.

His balanced production was not enough and Boston saw his streak of two consecutive wins ended.

After DeRozan made a pair of free throws for the Spurs to take A lead of 103 – 101, Theis nailed the ball with 40 seconds left. San Antonio regained the lead with a long-range shot from DeRozan and Murray dunked the ball on a counterattack that gave the Spurs a 107 – 103 lead.

Spurs turned around after trailing by double digits in the second half.
