ທhe recent appearance on digital media of an article allegedly penned by Emmanuel Joseph, regarding something called Trade 600 Maxair, featuring The Most Honourable Ralph Bizzy Williams being interviewed by Vic Fernandes is bogus and fraudulent.
None of the aforementioned persons have any
connection to, nor ever discussed or know anything
about this supposed investment opportunity.
While our initial reaction was to ignore it in the
belief that Barbadians would not fall for yet another
scam, it has become apparent that some people assume the article to be legitimate, thereby prompting an issue of a formal statement.
The photos of The Most Honourable Ralph Bizzy
Williams and Vic Fernandes were taken from a video
interview on Capital Media’s digital platform and
juxtaposed within the bogus article in an attempt to give it credibility.
While the parties are doing all in their powers to
have the article taken down, the public is advised that none of the persons mentioned have any connection whatsoever and cannot speak to veracity of claims made.
